Hotel Brianza - Calderara di Reno

The staff was very nice and did speak some English; they were very accommodating. The breakfast was always very nice and included fresh coffee and cappachino as well as fresh bakery crossiants, ham, salami, yogurts, fruits, cereals and cheeses. The room was a very nice size and they cleaned the room every morning when I went down for breakfast.

It would be nice if the double bed was actually a double bed instead of two twin beds put together. The beds would separate at night and cause a very uncomfortable split between the two sections. The only way to fix it was to get up and slide the two beds back together. But the majority of double beds in hotels in Europe are made this way.

Staff were very very nice, they treat you as a friend or family, always giving you everything you need. The room was very clean, and the cleaning lady did a great job.

Basic hotel with basic facilities, but for a reasonable price and close to the airport of Bologna. Friendly staff.

Front desk personnel minimally responsive to serve breakfast. Not helpful. It is a good hotel for very early flights out of Bologna.

Problem with the non-smoking rooms having smoke smell. No way to have an early cup of coffee if you have a very early flight. Though the hotel is only a few km from the airport, it is still a 12 euro taxi ride, I will try a hotel further from the airport next time, did not seem to be an advantage being closer to the airport since the hotel was minimal for comfort and value.

Cheap. Close location to Bologna airport for an early morning flight. 24 hour front desk. Plenty of secure parking.

Dated but with no character. The sound insulation in the rooms is inadequate for a hotel so close to an airport.

Ужасно громкий вентилятор в ванной, довольно посредственная шумоизоляция, завтрак никакой - булочки, хлеб и ветчина + сладости, я почти ничего не смогла съесть. За такие деньги можно было бы остановиться в отеле гораздо более высокого класса, но победило расположение - в 5 минутах ходьбы от завода поставщика :)
